Lots of changes: Who is injured? Who is being brought up to play?
The Giants have been hit hard this season with many unexpected injuries wiping out key players. These players have moved to the disabled list and adjustments have had to be made on the Giants roster. Lets begin with who is injured and on the DL: Santiago Casilla (P) is out with an inflamed right elbow and may be back end of May; Mark DeRosa (3B) is out with a torn left wrist tendon and is yet to be determined when he will be back; Mike Fontenot (SS) is out with a strain to his left groin and is yet to be determined when he will be back; Darren Ford (CF) strained his left ankle and is yet to be determined when he will be back; Buster Posey (C) has a broken left fibula and torn ligaments in his ankle. Posey may have to have surgery and could quite possibly be out for the remainder of the season; Pablo Sandoval (3B) has a broken bone in his right hand and is expected to be back in June; Barry Zito (P) has a right mid-foot sprain and is expected to be back in June. Due to these injuries, the Giants have had to make quick adjustments and brought up three players: Brandon Belt (OF), Chris Stewart (C), and Brandon Crawford (SS). More information on these three to come! Best of luck to these boys!! Let it show that together we're GIANT!

A Tribute To Buster Posey...
We were all devastated to see the injury of Buster last night and then to wake up to hear the news that it was a broken fibula and torn ligaments in his ankle made it all the more worse. I thought I would share our texts and conversations back and forth between us today which pretty much sums up how we feel. We could not stop thinking about it or talking about it. So, here we go: Noooooo this is such a dark day. I'm really shocked the sun rose today. I feel like we should put the weepies song on our blog because A. I woke up and wished that I was dead and B. I feel like the world is spinning madly on... everyone's updates that aren't about Buster are making me mad. I'm absolutely devastated. This is bad, bad, news. I love Buster! The Giants will have to prove they are champions and rally through adversity. I feel like there is a dark cloud over the Giants. Why Buster!?! He's so sweet and innocent. It's going to pull them together. I'm so stressed right now. How could this happen? why? I can't focus on work. I wish I could donate my leg. I honestly feel like we should call in sick to work or we should all be given a personal day today to deal with this. I'm so distraught. Nothing else matters in the world right now...I feel like all programs on TV should be interrupted for a special report on Buster all day. Flags should be at half mass, schools should be closed, taps should be on the radio. It's the end of the world as we know it. We should have a ceremony or something. I need to go to the city tonight...I just feel like I need to be there.
Truly a sad day for Buster, the Giants, and all the fans. Buster we love you and our thoughts and prayers are with you!! May it be a speedy recovery! Miss you already out there on the field!

Twitter: I'm best friends with Brian Wilson
I love Twitter. It makes me feel like I'm friends with these people that I am following. I like knowing what the celebs, singers, and especially the athletes are doing. For example, Brian Wilson on his day off says, "Another day off in the books. Just your average swim to Alcatraz w/shark feed tied to my ankles. Gonna spend the night. Swim to work tomorrow." A. Could he be any more hilarious?! Who thinks of things like that. It's totally awesome. And B. I like to think that this tweet was in response to my tagging him in a tweet asking what he does on a day off. Essentially, B-dub and I were chatting yesterday. Pretty great. ;) -Sd

Too close not to go into the ball park :)
This Saturday, we hopped the Bart and headed into the city to go watch the game at the Public House. The ball park, the crowds, the smells, and the sounds all made it too difficult to watch the game merely feet away from the gate to get into the park. We walked into the Public House, walked straight out the back door and to the ticket line to buy tickets. There is something extraordinary that happens when one walks through those big, green, grid iron gates into AT&T park. It turned out to simply be a perfect day. Even though we were in the standing room only, we were able to move around, chat with different people, and find the best spots to watch our favorite players like when Wilson came out to the bullpen to warm up. It was a great game as Lincecum had his fifth career shut out and wrapped up the game with a final score of 3-0 against the Oakland A's. We took our time leaving the park, took pictures by the bullpen, the dugout, even went down the slide in the Coca-Cola bottle. On our way out we also made the great discovery of the area where the players drive out and leave the ball park. We stood outside the park and waved goodbye to each of the players which was a perfect ending to the day.
On our way home, we were of course doing what we do quite often, chatting about the Giants. We want to chat about the players, what they like to do, music they listen to, the cars they drive, where they hang out, who they hangout with, their stats, videos, pictures and much more. So, here is just the beginning! Follow us and join in on our chatting about the epic SF Giants!
